Ojciec Święty Benedykt XVI, łącząc się duchowo z uczestnikami uroczystości 20-lecia Radia Maryja, za moim pośrednictwem przesyła na ręce Ojca Prowincjała pozdrowienie i Apostolskie Błogosławieństwo Założycielowi i Dyrektorowi Radia, Ojcu Tadeuszowi Rydzykowi, wszystkim pracownikom duchownym i świeckim, wolontariuszom oraz tym, którzy za przyczyną tej katolickiej rozgłośni znajdują umocnienie w wierze na drodze do spotkania z Bogiem.

 

 

Radio Maryja zostało erygowane przez Biskupa Chełmińskiego w Uroczystość Niepokalanego Poczęcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny, 8 grudnia 1991 roku w Toruniu. W tym niełatwym dla waszego Kraju okresie odejścia od systemu negującego wolność słowa i narzucającego monopol władzy na informację, potrzebne było powstanie nowych katolickich mediów, które dotarłyby do wszystkich z orędziem zbawienia i rzetelną informacją.

Tak myślał Błogosławiony Papież Jan Paweł II, który zwracając się do Was, powiedział: „Wielka jest dzisiaj potrzeba przepowiadania Ewangelii w naszej Ojczyźnie. Potrzebne jest ludziom autentyczne słowo. Słowo, które buduje, a nie dzieli, które wlewa otuchę w zalęknione serca; słowo czyste, proste, głoszące miłość i prawdę. Takim słowem jest orędzie zbawienia. Jest nim sam Chrystus. Tego właśnie słowa wy jesteście głosicielami” (Audiencja Generalna, 23.03.1994). Papież, wasz Rodak, wyznał również: „Dziękuję Radiu Maryja za to wielorakie i ofiarne zaangażowanie się w apostolstwo słowa, które dzisiaj jest tak bardzo ważne i tak bardzo potrzebne w naszym kraju” (Audiencja dla Radia Maryja, 18.04.1996). On sam zawierzył wasze Radio opiece Maryi, głównej Patronki Radia, w słowach: „Was wszystkich, wasze apostolstwo oddaję w opiekę Najświętszej Maryi Panny, którą czcimy jako Gwiazdę Ewangelizacji (…). Maryjo, Gwiazdo Ewangelizacji, prowadź nas! Prowadź Radio Maryja i bądź jego Opiekunką! (Audiencja Generalna, 23.03.1994); „Niech Maryja, Gwiazda nowej ewangelizacji prowadzi wasze radio na spotkanie nowych ludzi i nowych czasów” (Pielgrzymka do Polski, Toruń, 7.06.1999).

W duchu tego zawierzenia i przy nieugiętej woli wierności Urzędowi Nauczycielskiemu Kościoła i jego Pasterzom, Radio Maryja mogło, mimo trudności, owocnie rozwinąć swą działalność w kraju i zagranicą, zasiewając ziarno słowa w sercach ludzkich. Po dwudziestu latach nieprzerwanej działalności na wielu płaszczyznach, można przyznać, że plon tego zasiewu jest obfity. W pierwszym rzędzie na falach waszego Radia doświadczyć można spotkania z Bogiem poprzez modlitwę i katechezę, „dwa istotne elementy, które wyróżniają radio katolickie spośród innych rozgłośni” (Audiencja dla Radia Maryja, 16.10.1997): codziennie transmitowana jest Msza św., Modlitwa Brewiarzowa, Anioł Pański, Różaniec, Koronka do Miłosierdzia Bożego, Apel Jasnogórski z Częstochowy, Godzinki do NMP i inne modlitwy okresowe, jak na przykład Gorzkie Żale. Codzienna katecheza ubogacana jest udziałem księży Biskupów, a nierozerwalna więź ze Stolicą Apostolską przejawia się w transmisjach wszystkich Pielgrzymek zagranicznych Ojca Świętego, środowych Audiencji Ogólnych, modlitwy Anioł Pański z Papieżem, wiadomości Radia Watykańskiego oraz ważniejszych wydarzeń z życia Stolicy Świętej i Kościoła Powszechnego. Transmitowany jest ponadto Tygodnik wiadomości z Watykanu Octava Dies, jak również serwis informacyjny z Ziemi Świętej Terra Santa News.

Ojciec Święty Benedykt XVI wyraża swą radość z faktu, że dzięki Radiu Maryja i związaną z nim Telewizją „Trwam”, Jego Podróże Apostolskie, Audiencje środowe i inne wystąpienia mogą być odbierane w Polsce w języku ojczystym. Jest to wyraźny wkład w przybliżanie Misji Piotrowej w waszym Kraju i wśród waszych Rodaków na obczyźnie.

Nie bez znaczenia pozostaje również działalność chrześcijańsko-społeczna waszego Radia. Znany i religijnie cenny jest wspólnotowy wymiar słuchaczy Radia Maryja, rodzin, młodzieży, a zwłaszcza wspaniały i jedyny tego rodzaju fenomen Podwórkowych Kółek Różańcowych gromadzących ok. 150 tysięcy dzieci w różnych częściach świata, które wyrażają swą miłość do Matki Zbawiciela poprzez regularną, codzienną modlitwę różańcową. Z myślą o formacji młodzieży i w trosce o katolickich dziennikarzy działa już od 10 lat w Toruniu Wyższa Szkoła Kultury Społecznej i Medialnej, a prasowy wymiar dziennikarstwa reprezentuje znany w Polsce dziennik.

Radio Maryja pielgrzymuje też po ojczystej ziemi, transmitując Msze św. i inne nabożeństwa z wielu sanktuariów, diecezji i parafii oraz śledzi wydarzenia z życia Kościoła w Polsce. Słuchacze Radia Maryja stają na pielgrzymich szlakach do Częstochowy, do Rzymu i do tzw. amerykańskiej Częstochowy w Stanie Pensylwania. Specyfiką tego Radia jest również to, że każdy może wziąć udział w otwartym programie dyskusyjnym „Rozmowy niedokończone”, telefonicznie uczestnicząc w programie transmitowanym na żywo. Należy wspomnieć także o środowiskach naukowych, kulturalnych i społecznych skupiających się wokół Radia Maryja i opowiadających się jasno za nauką moralną Kościoła katolickiego w obronie życia, od jego poczęcia do naturalnej śmierci, i w obronie rodziny opartej na odpowiedzialnym i przez Boga pobłogosławionym związku mężczyzny i kobiety oraz na chrześcijańskim wychowaniu potomstwa. Wspomniane formy religijnego oddziaływania na rzesze radiosłuchaczy, szczególnie w stosunku do osób niepełnosprawnych, chorych i posuniętych w latach, które nie mogą uczestniczyć osobiście w programach duszpasterskich swoich diecezji czy parafii, stanowią nieoceniony wkład w misję ewangelizacyjną Kościoła w Polsce i współgrają z drogą Nowej Ewangelizacji, wytyczoną przez Urząd Nauczycielski Kościoła.

Na zakończenie pragnę przytoczyć słowa Papieża, waszego Rodaka, Błogosławionego Jana Pawła II, skierowane do Was podczas jednej z pielgrzymek do Rzymu: „Niech Wasze radio służy prawdziwej informacji, przepojonej miłością i opartej na sprawiedliwości. Niech przyczynia się do kształtowania ludzkich sumień w duchu nauki Chrystusa” (Audiencja Generalna, 23.03.1994).

Ojciec Święty Benedykt XVI, dziękując Wam za 20 lat ofiarnej misji ewangelizacyjnej, prosi Boga, za przyczyną Matki Najświętszej, Patronki Radia Maryja, aby to dzieło przenikania wiary do sumień ludzkich, prowadzone przez Zgromadzenie Zakonne Redemptorystów w Polsce i na świecie, zaowocowało trwałym zwycięstwem dobra nad złem i przyczyniło się do dobra wielu chrześcijan i całego waszego Kraju.

W tym duchu, łączę się i ja w radości, jaką przeżywacie, i pozdrawiam wszystkich uczestników uroczystości oraz radiosłuchaczy

The Holy Father Benedict XVI, in spiritual communion with the participants of the ceremony of the XX anniversary of the Radio Maria, sends trough me to the Father Provincial a greeting and an apostolic blessing to the Founder and the Director of the Radio – Father Tadeusz Rydzyk, all the ecclesiastic and lay employees, volunteers and those who thanks to this catholic broadcaster strengthen their faith on their way to God.

Radio Maria was erected in Torun by the Bishop of Chelm, on the day of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, 8th December 1991. During this rather difficult period of leaving the system that negated the freedom of speech and imposed the government”s monopoly in distribution of information, there was a necessity to create the new, catholic media that could reach everyone with the message of Redemption and with the reliable information.

Blessed John Paul II was thinking in this way. He addressed to you these words:
„There is a great necessity to proclaim the Gospel in our Homeland. People are in a need of an authentic word. Word that builds and not divides, word that brings confidence to the anxious hearts. Word that is pure, simple, proclaims love and truth. The message of Redemption is that kind of word. This is Christ Himself. And you are the spokesmen of this Word”.

The Pope, your compatriot, confessed also: „I would like to say thank you to the Radio Maria for this diversified and generous engagement in the Apostolate of Word, which is today so important and so needed in our country”. He Himself entrusted your Radio to Mary”s protection. She is the chief patroness of the Radio, She is present in the words of all of you. I entrust your Apostolate to Virgin Mary”s protection. We venerate Her as the Star of Evangelization.

„Mary, the Star of Evangelization, please lead us, lead Radio Maria and be its protectress”. May Mary, the Star of New Evangelization, lead your Radio to the new people and new times. In this spirit of entrusting, thanks to indomitable will and fidelity with the Magisterium of the Church and with its Shepherds, Radio Maria could, despite of the difficulties, develop fruitfully its activity at home and abroad.

And with the seed of Word in the hearts of men, after 20 years of continuous activity on many levels, we can admit that the yield of the sow is abundant. In the first place on the waves of your radio, you can experience the encounter with God through prayer and catechesis. Two important elements that mark out the Catholic Radio from the other stations.

Every day is broadcasted the Holy Mass, Breviary, Angelus, Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Evening prayer to Mary the Queen of Poland from Jasna Gora in Czestochowa, Prayer of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and other prayers characteristic for different periods – as for example a penitential prayers celebrated in Lent („Gorzkie Żale”).

Everyday catechesis is enriched by the presence of bishops. Inseparable attachment with the Holy See is manifested in the broadcasts of all the foreign pilgrimages of the Holy Father, the Wednesday general audiences, the „Angelus” with the Pope, the Vatican Radio news and the most important events in the Holy See and the universal Church. In addition, a weekly news from the Vatican Octava Dies is broadcasted, as well as the information service from the Holy Land – Terra Santa News.

The Pope Benedict XVI expresses his joy that, thanks to the Radio Maria and related with it television Trwam, his apostolic journeys, Wednesday audiences and other events can be received in Poland in the native language. This is a clear contribution in bringing closer the Peter”s Mission in your country and among your countrymen who live abroad.

Not without significance is also the Christian social activity of your Radio. Known and religiously valuable is the community dimension of the Radio Maria listeners, families, youth and especially wonderful and unique phenomenon of the Backyard Rosary Circles of Children gathering about 150 thousand of children in the different parts of world who express their love for the Mother of the Savior through the regular, everyday Rosary.

Thinking about the formation of young people and for the sake of the Catholic journalists, already for 10 years in Torun has existed the School of Social and Media Culture. The press dimension of journalism represents a well-known in Poland daily journal. Radio Maria also pilgrimages through its homeland transmitting the Holy Mass and other celebrations from many sanctuaries in the dioceses and parishes. It also follows the events of the Church in Poland. Radio Maria listeners are on the pilgrimage tracks to Czestochowa, Rome and the American Czestochowa in Pennsylvania.

The specificity of this radio lies also in the fact that anyone can take part in an open discussion program „Unfinished Conversations”, participating by the telephone in the live program. There should also be mentioned the scientific, cultural and social environments gathering around the Radio Maria and supporting clearly the moral teaching of the Catholic Church, defending life from conception to natural death and defending the family founded on responsible and God-blessed union of a man and woman and the Christian education of children.

Mentioned above forms of religious influence on the masses of listeners, especially the people with disabilities, the sick, the advanced in years, who cannot participate personally in the pastoral programs in their dioceses or parishes, are a genuine contribution to the Mission of Evangelization of the Church in Poland and harmonize with the path of the New Evangelization traced by The Magisterium of the Church.

Finally, I would like to quote the words of the Pope, your compatriot, Blessed John Paul II, addressed to you during one of the pilgrimages to Rome: „May your Radio be on service of the true information, fulfilled with love and based on justice. May it contribute to the formation of human consciences in the spirit of the teaching of Christ.”

The Holy Father Benedict XVI, thanking you for the 20 years of the generous Mission of Evangelization, asks God through the intercession of the Holy Mother, Patroness of the Radio Maria, that this Cause of permeation of faith to the human consciences, guided by the Redemptorist Religious Order in Poland and abroad, results in a permanent victory of good over evil and brings good to the many Christians and to all of your country. In this spirit, I share your joy and I salute all the participants of the ceremony and the listeners.

Dem Ehrwürdigen Vater Provinzial Janusz Sok, C.S.S.R. Vorgesetzter der Warschauer Provinz des Redemptoristen-Ordens

 

Der Heilige Vater, Papst Benedikt XVI., verbindet sich seelisch mit allen Teilnehmern der 20. Jubiläumsfeier von Radio Maryja. Er erteilt durch die Hände vom Pater Provinzial seinen Apostolischen Segen an den Gründer und Direktor von Radio Maryja, Pater Tadeusz Rydzyk, sowie an alle geistlichen und nicht geistlichen Mitarbeiter, an Volontäre und diejenigen, die sich dank dieses katholischen Radiosenders auf dem Weg zum Gott in ihrem Glauben stärken.

Radio Maryja wurde von dem Chelmno-Bischof am Tag der Unbefleckten Empfängnis, dem 8. Dezember 1991, in Torun ins Leben gerufen. In dieser für Euer Land schwierigen Zeit, als Ihr das System, das die Redefreiheit negierte und das Informationsmonopol aufzwang, bewältigt hattet, war die Entstehung neuer katholischer Medien, welche die Menschen mit der Erlösungsbotschaft und zuverlässigen Informationen versorgen, besonders wichtig. So dachte der selige Papst Johannes Paul II., der an Euch seine Worte richtete: „In unserem Heimat gibt es ein großes Bedürfnis, das Evangelium zu verkünden. Die Menschen brauchen ein authentisches Wort, das baut und nicht trennt und das den ängstlichen Herzen Mut macht. Ein reines und einfaches Wort, das Liebe und Wahrheit verkündet. Dieses Wort ist die Erlösungsbotschaft. Und ihr seid Verkünder dieses Wortes.” Der Papst, Euer Landsmann, sagte auch: „Ich danke Radio Maryja dafür, das es sich für das Wortapostolat so vielfältig und aufopfernd einsetzt. Dieses Apostolat ist heute in unserem Land besonders wichtig und notwendig.” Er selbst hat Euer Radio und Euch alle Maria, der Hauptpatronin von Radio Maryja anvertraut. Auch ich empfehle Euer Apostolat der Obhut der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria an, die wir als Stern der Neu-Evangelisation ehren. „Maria, Stern der Neu-Evangelisation, führe uns, führe Radio Maryja zu Gott und sei seine Betreuerin.”

Seid von Maria, dem Stern der Neu-Evangelisation zu neuen Menschen und Zeiten geführt! Im Geist dieser Betreuung, mit dem festen Willen und der Treue dem Lehramt der Kirche und seinen Hirten gegenüber, konnte Radio Maryja trotz vieler Schwierigkeiten sein Tätigkeit im In- und Ausland entwickeln. Indem es einen Kern des Wortes in menschlichen Herzen hat, kann man nach zwanzig Jahren seiner Tätigkeit auf vielen Ebenen zugeben, dass die Ernte dieser Saat reich ist.

Auf euren Radiosenderwellen kann man in erster Linie durch Gebet und Katechese die Nähe von Gott erfahren. Das sind zwei wichtige Elemente, die das katholische Radio von anderen Radiosendern unterscheidet. Täglich werden das Brevier, das Ave-Maria, der Barmherzigkeits-Rosenkranz, der Jasna Góra Appell, Stundengebete und andere zyklische Gebete, wie z.B. der Kreuzweg, übertragen.

An jeder täglichen Katechese nehmen die Bischöfe teil und die untrennbare geistliche Verbindung mit dem Heiligen Stuhl zeigt sich bei den Übertragungen aller ausländischen Reisen des Heiligen Vaters, seinen Generalaudienzen am Mittwoch, dem Ave-Maria-Gebet mit dem Papst, den Radio-Vatikan-Nachrichten und allen wichtigen Ereignissen aus dem Leben des Heiligen Stuhls und der Weltkirche. Außerdem werden wöchentlich die Nachrichten „Octava Dies” aus dem Vatikan sowie der Informationsdienst aus dem Heiligen Land „Terra
Santa News” übertragen. Der Heilige Vater, Papst Benedikt XVI., freut sich sehr darüber, dass dank Radio Maryja und dem Fernsehsender Trwam, der mit dem Radio verbunden ist, seine apostolischen Reisen, die Generalaudienzen am Mittwoch und andere Auftritte in Polen in polnischer Sprache empfangen werden können. Das ist ein sichtbarer Beitrag zur Verbreitung der Mission des Heiligen Vaters in Eurem Land und unter Euren Landsleuten im Ausland.

Nicht ohne Bedeutung ist auch die christlich-gesellschaftliche Tätigkeit Eures Radios. Bekannt und wertvoll aus religiöser Sicht ist die gemeinschaftliche Verbundenheit der Zuhörer von Radio Maria: Dazu gehören Treffen von Familien, Jugendlichen und besonders auch das großartige und einzigartige Phänomen der Rosenkranzkreise für Kinder (Podwórkowe Kółka Różańcowe), die 150 000 Kinder in verschiedenen Regionen der Welt versammeln. Durch das regelmäßige, tägliche Gebet drücken sie ihre Liebe zur Muttergottes aus. Um die Jugendlichen in Polen zu bilden und im Einsatz für katholische Journalisten ist seit 10 Jahren in Torun die „Hochschule für Kultur in Gesellschaft und Medien” aktiv und auch die Tageszeitung
„Nasz Dziennik” ist in den Medien Eures Landes bekannt. Radio Maryja pilgert auch durch seine Heimat, indem es Hl. Messen und Andachten aus vielen Sanktuarien in verschiedenen Diözesen und Gemeinden überträgt und Ereignisse aus dem Leben der Kirche in Polen verfolgt. Die Zuhörer von Radio Maryja pilgern nach Tschenstochau, nach Rom und zum „amerikanischen Tschenstochau” in Pennsylvania. Charakteristisch für das Radio ist, dass jeder an der Diskussion in der Live-Sendung „Rozmowy niedokończone” (Unvollendete Gespräche) telefonisch teilnehmen kann. Man darf auch die wissenschaftlichen, kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Kreise nicht vergessen, die um Radio Maryja versammelt sind und die sich sehr klar für die moralische Lehre der katholischen Kirche einsetzen. Diese Kreise verteidigen das Leben von der Empfängnis bis zum natürlichen Tod, sie verteidigen die Familie, für die eine verantwortliche und von Gott gesegnete Beziehung zwischen Mann und Frau eine Grundlage ist, und das Recht zur christlichen Kindererziehung. Alle oben genannten religiösen Auswirkungsformen auf die große Menge von Zuhörern, besonders auf behinderte, kranke und ältere Personen, die nicht mehr an seelsorglichen Programmen in ihren Gemeinden oder Diözesen teilnehmen können, sind ein authentischer Beitrag zu Evangelisierungsmission der Kirche in Polen und stehen in Einklang mit dem von dem Lehramt der Kirche bestimmten Weg der neuen Evangelisierung.

Zum Schluss möchte ich noch an die Worte von Papst Johannes Paul II., Eurem Landmann, erinnern, die er an Euch während einer eurer Pilgerfahrten nach Rom richtete: „Euer Radio soll der wahren Information dienen, die mit Liebe erfüllt und auf Gerechtigkeit gestützt ist. Tragt zur Bildung der menschlichen Gewissen im Geist der Lehre von Jesus Christus bei.” Der Heilige Vater dankt Euch für 20 Jahre des aufopfernden Dienstes und bittet Gott durch Vermittlung der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria, Patronin von Radio Maryja, dass dieses vom Redemptoristen-Orden geführte Werk, dank dessen der Glaube in die menschlichen Gewissen durchdringt, einen dauerhaften Sieg des Guten über das Böse bringt und zum Guten von vielen Christen Eures ganzen Landes beiträgt. In diesem Geist verbinde ich mich mit Euch in der Freude, die Ihr jetzt erlebt und grüße herzlich alle Teilnehmer der Jubiläumsfeier und Zuhörer.

Il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI, spiritualmente unito ai partecipanti al
20° anniversario di Radio Maria, invia per il mio tramite, per le mani del Padre
Provinciale, un saluto e la Benedizione Apostolica al Fondatore e Direttore
della Radio, P. Tadeusz Rydzyk, a tutti i collaboratori ecclesiastici e laici,
ai volontari e a coloro che attraverso questa emittente cattolica trovano un
rinforzo nella fede sulla strada verso l”incontro con Dio.

Radio Maria e stata eretta dal Vescovo di Chełmno nella Solennita
dell”Immacolata Concezione della Beata Vergine Maria, l”8 dicembre 1991 a Toruń.
In quel periodo, non facile per il vostro Paese e segnato dall”uscita dal
sistema che negava la liberta della parola e imponeva il monopolio delle
Autorita civili sull”informazione, era opportuna la creazione di nuovi mass
media cattolici, che raggiungessero tutti con il messaggio della salvezza e con
un”onesta informazione.

Cosi pensava il Beato Giovanni Paolo II, il quale, rivolgendosi a voi, ha
detto: „Grande e oggi il bisogno dell”annuncio del Vangelo nella nostra Patria.
La gente ha bisogno di una parola autentica, parola che edifica e non divide,
che infonde coraggio nei cuori intimoriti; di una parola limpida, semplice,
portatrice d”amore e di verita. Questa parola e messaggio di salvezza, e Cristo
stesso. Di una tale parola voi siete annunciatori” (Udienza Generale,
23.03.1994). Il Papa, vostro Connazionale, ha detto pure: „Ringrazio Radio Maria
per il suo impegno, multiforme e pieno di dedizione, nell”apostolato della
parola che oggi e cosi importante e cosi necessario nel nostro Paese” (Udienza
per Radio Maria, 18.04.1996). Lui stesso ha affidato la vostra Radio alla
protezione di Maria, principale Patrona della Radio, nelle seguenti parole: „Voi
tutti, il vostro apostolato affido alla protezione della Beata Vergine Maria,
che veneriamo come Stella dell”Evangelizzazione (…). Maria, Stella
dell”Evangelizzazione, guidaci! Guida Radio Maria e sii la sua Patrona!” (Udienza
Generale, 23.03.1994); „Che Maria, Stella della Nuova Evangelizzazione, conduca
la vostra Radio verso l”incontro delle nuove persone e dei tempi nuovi” (Pellegrinaggio
in Polonia, Toruń, 7.07.1999).

Nello spirito di tale affidamento e con ferma volonta di essere fedeli al
Magistero della Chiesa e ai suoi Pastori, Radio Maria ha potuto, nonostante le
difficolta, svolgere fruttuosamente la propria attivita in Polonia e all”estero,
seminando la parola nei cuori della gente. Dopo vent”anni dell”ininterrotta
attivita in varie forme, si puo constatare che il frutto di questa semina e
abbondante. Innanzitutto, sulle onde della vostra Radio si puo sperimentare
l”incontro con Dio attraverso la preghiera e la catechesi, „due elementi
essenziali che distinguono una radio cattolica da altre emittenti” (Udienza per
Radio Maria, 16.10.1997): ogni giorno vengono trasmessi la Santa Messa, la
Liturgia delle Ore, l”Angelus, il Rosario, la Corona alla Divina Misericordia,
l””Appello alla Madonna di Częstochowa”, il Breviario popolare alla Madonna
„Godzinki” e altre preghiere periodiche, come p.e. „Gorzkie Żale” („Amaro
pentimento”). La catechesi quotidiana viene arricchita con la partecipazione dei
Vescovi, mentre l”inscindibile legame con la Sede Apostolica si esprime
attraverso le trasmissioni di tutti i Viaggi internazionali del Santo Padre,
delle Udienze Generali del mercoledi, dell”Angelus, delle informazioni della
Radio Vaticana e dei piu importanti eventi della vita della Santa Sede e della
Chiesa Universale. Inoltre, viene trasmesso il settimanale vaticano Octava Dies
e il notiziario Terra Santa News.

Il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI apprezza il fatto che grazie a Radio Maria e
alla Televisione TRWAM, i Suoi Viaggi Apostolici, le Udienze del mercoledi e gli
altri interventi possono essere seguiti in diretta in Polonia, con la traduzione
nella vostra lingua. E un importante contributo alla diffusione della Missione
di Pietro nel vostro Paese e tra i vostri connazionali all”estero.

Non senza significato resta, poi, l”attivita cristiano-sociale della vostra
Radio. E conosciuta e religiosamente rilevante la dimensione comunitaria degli
ascoltatori di Radio Maria, delle famiglie, dei giovani e, in particolare,
dell”unico e straordinario fenomeno del „Cortile dei Circoli di Rosario” che
raduna circa 150 mila bambini in diverse parti del mondo, che esprimono il suo
amore alla Madre del Salvatore attraverso una regolare, quotidiana recita del
Rosario. A favore della formazione dei giovani e dei giornalisti cattolici
opera, gia da 10 anni, a Toruń, la Scuola Superiore della Cultura Sociale e
Mediale, mentre la dimensione della stampa rappresenta il giornale ben noto in
Polonia.

Radio Maria pellegrina, inoltre, sulle strade della patria, trasmettendo
Sante Messe ed altri momenti liturgici da molti santuari, diocesi e parrocchie,
seguendo eventi della vita della Chiesa in Polonia.

Gli ascoltatori di Radio Maria si mettono in pellegrinaggio a Częstochowa, a
Roma e alla cosiddetta „Częstochowa americana” nello Stato di Pensilvania. Una
caratteristica specifica della Radio e il fatto che ciascuno puo prendere parte
al programma di aperta discussione „Colloqui senza fine”, partecipandovi
telefonicamente in diretta. Bisogna menzionare anche i cerchi scientifici,
culturali e sociali legati a Radio Maria, che si pronunciano chiaramente a
favore dalla dottrina morale della Chiesa cattolica a difesa della vita, dal
concepimento alla sua fine naturale, e a difesa della famiglia basata sul legame,
responsabile e benedetto da Dio, tra uomo e donna e sull”educazione cristiana
dei figli. Le citate forme dell”influsso religioso su un largo numero di
ascoltatori e, in particolare, sulle persone disabili, malate o anziane che non
possono partecipare personalmente ai programmi pastorali delle loro diocesi o
parrocchie, costituiscono un apprezzabile contributo alla missione
evangelizzatrice della Chiesa in Polonia e restano consone con la via della
Nuova Evangelizzazione, tracciata dal Magistero della Chiesa.

Alla fine desidero citare le parole del Beato Papa Giovanni Paolo II, vostro
Connazionale, rivolte a Voi durante uno dei vostri pellegrinaggi a Roma: „Che la
vostra Radio serva alla diffusione della vera informazione, permeata di amore e
basata sulla giustizia! Che contribuisca alla formazione delle coscienze nello
spirito dell”insegnamento di Cristo” (Udienza Generale, 23.03. 1994).

Il Santo Padre Benedetto XVI, ringraziando per i vent”anni della vostra
dedita missione evangelizzatrice, chiede a Dio, per l”intercessione di Maria
Santissima, Patrona di Radio Maria, affinché quest”opera della diffusione della
fede nelle coscienze umane, guidata dalla Congregazione religiosa dei Padri
Redentoristi in Polonia e nel mondo, possa portare frutti della vittoria del
bene sul male e contribuire al bene di molti cristiani e del vostro Paese.

In tale spirito, anch”io partecipo alla gioia del vostro anniversario e
saluto tutti i partecipanti alla festa e i radioascoltatori

Su Santidad, el Santo Padre, Benedicto XVI, estando conectado espiritualmente con los participantes de la celebración del Aniversario de los 20 anos de Radio María, a través de mí, por manos del Padre Superior quien envía sus cordiales saludos y bendición apostólica para el Fundador y Director de Radio María, Rev. Doctor Padre Tadeo Rydzyk como también a los colaboradores, sacerdotes, religiosos y laicos, voluntarios, y también, a quienes, por causa de quien les habla, este católico locutor, encuentran fuerza en la fe, en el camino hacia un encuentro con Dios.

Radio María formó el Obispo de Chełm, en la celebración de la Inmaculada Concepción de la Virgen María el día 8 de Diciembre 1991, en Torun. En ese momento difícil para Vuestro País, tiempo de salida del sistema que estaba negando la libertad de la palabra y que estaba imponiendo su poder sobre la forma de información, hacía necesaria la formación de nuevos medios católicos, que podrían guiar a todos con su mensaje de resurrección y con información confiable. Así pensó el Beato Juan Pablo II, cuando refiriéndose a Vosotros dijo „Hoy tenemos la urgente necesidad de anunciar el Evangelio en nuestra Patria, la gente necesita una palabra auténtica. La palabra que está construyendo, no dividiendo, la palabra que llena los corazones ansiosos. La Palabra pura, simple, palabra que anuncia el amor y la verdad. Esta Palabra es el Mensaje de la salvación. Es el mismo Jesucristo. Y Ustedes son los predicadores de esta Palabra.” El Papa, Vuestro Compatriota , también dijo „Gracias a Radio María por este gran y sacrificado compromiso con el Apostolado de la Palabra, que hoy es tan importante

y tan necesario en nuestro país.” Él mismo confió Vuestra Radio en el cuidado de la Santísima Virgen, que es también la Patrona de esta Radio, diciendo a todos vosotros:
„Vuestro Apostolado dejo a las manos de la Santísima Virgen María, quien es venerada como la Estrella de la Nueva Evangelización.

Que María, la Estrella de la Nueva Evangelización, conduzca nosotros, conduzca la Radio María, y sea Su Patrona”, y que María, la Estrella de la Nueva Evangelización, conduzca Vuestra Radio por el camino de encuentro de la nueva gente y de los nuevos tiempos.

Con el espíritu de esta confianza y con la fuerza de voluntad y fidelidad del Magisterio de la Iglesia Católica y Sus Pastores, la Radio María puede, a pesar de las dificultades, ser fructífera y desarrollar sus actividades en el país como también en el extranjero.

Teniendo la importancia de la Palabra en los corazones de los hombres, después de 20 anos de continuo trabajo en distintos niveles, se puede decir que el logro de este servicio es muy grande.

En primer lugar, en las ondas de Vuestra Radio se puede vivir la experiencia del encuentro con Dios, a través de la oración y de la catequesis. Se dan dos elementos muy importantes que distinguen esta Radio entre las otras. La transmisión de la Santa Misa cada día, la oración del Breviario, el Angelus, el Rosario, Coronilla a la Divina Misericordia, la oración de Santuario de Jasna Gora de Czestochova, las oraciones a la Inmaculada Concepción de la Virgen María, como también otras oraciones.

La catequesis diaria que se realiza con la participación de varios obispos, y el indisoluble vinculo con la Santa Sede se pueden ver en las distintas transmisiones de todos los viajes apostólicos del Santo Padre, las audiencias generales y el Angelus con el Santo Padre, las noticias de la Radio Vaticana y así como también los importantes eventos de la vida de la Sede Apostólica y la Iglesia Universal. En el programa está también el Semanal de las Noticias del Vaticano
„Octava Dies”, así como el servicio informativo de Tierra Santa „Terra Santa News”.

El Santo Padre Benedicto XVI expresa su alegría en el hecho de que, gracias a Radio María

y la TV TRWAM, sus viajes apostólicos, sus encuentros de miércoles y también otros eventos pueden ser transmitidos en Polonia y en idioma polaco. Es una gran contribución para acercar la Misión de San Pedro en Vuestro país y entre los Polacos en el exilio. Mucha importancia tiene también la actividad de la Radio a nivel cristiano-social. Es muy conocida la comunidad de los oyentes de Radio María, de las familias, de la juventud y sobre todo muy conocido el fenómeno de los anillos-Rosario de los ninos, que recoge casi 150 mil ninos en distintos lugares del mundo. Ellos expresan su amor hacia la Madre del Redentor a través de la oración diaria del Rosario.

Con la idea de formar a la juventud y con el cuidado de los periodistas católicos en Torun, está el Colegio de la Cultura y los Medios Sociales. El periodismo de prensa representa también el reconocido diario en Polonia
„Nasz Dziennik”. Radio María está peregrinando entre la Patria, transmitiendo las santas misas de los varios santuarios de las parroquias en las distintas diócesis de Polonia. Esto muestra los eventos en la vida de la Iglesia en Polonia.

Los oyentes de la radio van a las peregrinaciones a Czestochova, Roma y a Czestochova de los Estados Unidos de América, en el estado de Pensilvania.

La especificidad de esta Radio también hace que cada persona pueda tener participación en las discusiones del programa
„Las conversaciones inconclusas”, llamando y participando en él. Es necesario mencionar sobre los ambientes académicos, culturales, y sociales que están con Radio María y que claramente apoyan la doctrina social de la Iglesia, defendiendo la vida desde el concebimiento hasta la muerte natural, defendiendo la familia, apoyada en el sacramento del matrimonio entre el hombre y la mujer, que bendijo Dios, como también la educación de los ninos con plena responsabilidad.

Estas formas de influencia a los fieles, sobre todo a las personas con discapacidad, enfermos y ancianos, que no pueden participar personalmente en la pastoral de sus diócesis y parroquias, son una verdadera contribución en la Misión de la Evangelización de la Iglesia en Polonia. Ellos también están yendo por el camino que está designado por el Magisterio de la Iglesia.

Por último, quiero recordar las palabras del Papa, el Beato Juan Pablo II, quien dijo a Vosotros cuando estaban en el peregrinaje a Roma
„Que Vuestra Radio esté al servicio de la verdadera noticia, llena de amor, y apoyada en la justicia. Que esté al servicio de la formación de las conciencias humanas con el espíritu de la ensenanza de Jesucristo.”

El Santo Padre Benedicto XVI, agradeciendo a Vosotros por los 20 anos de la Misión Evangelizadora, ruega a Dios por intercesión de la Virgen María, la Patrona de la Radio, que esta Obra de la fe en las conciencias humanas, que está cuidado por los Redentoristas, traiga permanente victoria del bien sobre el mal, y que contribuya al bienestar de todos los cristianos y todo Vuestro país. Con este espíritu, yo también estoy con Vuestra alegría, y envío a todos los participantes mis cordiales saludos.
